But this blog is not just about the books I have written. Lately, I have been distracted from my WIP, even to the point where I felt I needed to abandon the one I had begun some time ago, and start something totally fresh and new.
My inspiration for the work I am now creating came from a short story. I had written about some of my current experiences on the Blogosphere. My primary character is experiencing similar obsessions, if you will.
From that point, I began some time in the past…back before the character developed this obsession. Back to a time when her life seemed almost perfect.
What happens to derail her forms the basis for the novel.
